    All AESD Schools and AESD District Offices will remain CLOSED through the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. With the exception of our upcoming Spring Break next week from April 6-10, we will continue to provide free student meals to all children under the age of 18 from 11 - 12:30 pm daily at the following 4 locations: Adelanto Elementary, George, Morgan Kincaid, and Ted Vick. Meals will be “grab and go” using a drive through style hand off. Walk ups are welcomed too. (***For locations for FREE meals pcik up while we are on Spring Break, look at the news article on the front page of our website***) With the exception of Spring Break, AESD has created weekly resources for your child to maintain their academic skills during our school closure. You may access the materials by picking up a weekly paper packet at our district office lobby area from 10 - 2 pm or click on the top tab labeled "Education Opportunities on our website". There will be no weekly learning packets during Spring Break.

Columbia Middle School in the Southwest Adelanto area is one of three Middle Schools in the District with a focus on students, achievement, career & college goals. Columbia Middle School boasts a friendly staff, a strong Athletics program, and currently serves 700 students.

AESD Schools and District Offices CLOSED for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year

Due to California's "Stay at Home" orders, with the direction of our State and County leaders, and for the safety of our students and staff, AESD will be extending our school closures through the end of the 2019-20 school year. 


With the exception of next week, April 6 - 10, our Spring Break, student meals and student learning opportunities will continue through June 3, 2020. More information on additional student distance learning opportunities will be given in the upcoming weeks.


During our Spring Break, April 6 - 10, all students under 18 can still receive FREE "grab and go" meals at the following schools within the Victor Valley Union High School District:

This is an online class that is open to everyone who wants to spend some time in a virtual classroom setting. We will be using several different applications, we will learn one at a time so don’t worry.




AESD Schools and District Offices Closed through May 1, 2020. Anticipated return of students on Monday, May 4, 2020

In consideration of the health and welfare of students and staff, through the leadership of County Superintendent Ted Alejandre, collaboration with all the Superintendents within the County of San Bernardino, and the support of the San Bernardino Department of Health, AESD schools and District offices will remain closed through May 1, 2020.


We anticipate the return of our students on Monday, May 4, 2020. We will keep you updated if there are any changes to this anticipated date.

AESD Schools and District Offices CLOSED through Spring Break

All Schools and District Offices will be closed through our regularly scheduled Spring Break. Currently we are planning for our students to return back to school on Tuesday, April 14. If there are any changes to this date, we will update everyone through this website, email, and Peachjar.


AESD has created weekly resources for your child to maintain their academic skills during our school closure. There are three options to access the materials:

* Option 1 - Pick up a packet in our district office lobby for the week from 10 - 2 pm

* Option 2 - Go online by clicking on the top tab above labeled "Education Opportunities"

* Option 3 - District operated Google Classroom beginning March 24, 2020


ALL AESD Schools Closed from Monday, March 16 - Friday, March 20, 2020

Adelanto Elementary School District has decided to close all of our schools for one week, from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20, 2020.

Currently we are planning for our students to return on Monday, March 23, 2020. We will be monitoring Federal and State news and County and San Bernardino Department of Health information release and may extend the school closure dates. If the planned closure is extended past Friday, March 20, we will communicate through this website, email, and Peachjar.


AESD Canceling Before and After School Activities and Events through Friday, April 17, 2020

As you know, the health and safety of our students, staff and our surrounding community is a priority. To help limit spread of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus COVID-19, AESD will be canceling all upcoming before and after school extra-curricular activities and events at the school sites and within the District. These activities and events include school site parent nights, sports practices, PTA sponsored events, ceremonies, and District sponsored events. The canceling of before and after school events will be in effect until the end of the day on Friday, April 17, 2020. 

AESD Coronavirus/COVID-19 Informational Release

Adelanto Elementary School District would like to update our parents, students, and staff regarding the worldwide concerns with respect to the Novel Coronavirus aka (COVID-19). There are still very few cases in the USA and no spread of the virus in our County or City. As of March 5, 2020, there are no confirmed Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in San Bernardino County and/or in the High Desert, Victorville, and/or Adelanto.
